Stroking
Temporary loss of purpose and drive. Yes. I'm currently hunting my personally concocted antidote of 50% new Levis and 50% beta fish. The pet store gets a new shipment of betas in two days. I just can't wait.By the by, which is the better Strokes album: "Is This It" or "Room on Fire"? I'm looking to buy.

"Is This It?" is better, but they're consistent with one another, so you can't go wrong.
I personally prefer "Room On Fire," but I'd agree with Tony that either will do. You can probably actually find both for pretty cheap in bargain bins, just because they're so popular.
I also agree with Tony that either will do. But like Jack I'd go for "Room on Fire." Though, lately I've been on a kick.
I'm shocked but not appalled that you boys prefer "Room on Fire." They are comparable albums, and both reach equally high at their highest points, but "Room on Fire" has just a couple more duds and poor choices.
