"Double boiled" pralines
Our cooking has slowed down a bit in the two months since our previous cooking post, but because it's been that long, we've got some stuff to share.We're learning a lot about ingredient portions and putting together a nice set of staple items. My birthday grill arrived today too, so look for some grilling action before too long. In addition to everything that follows, there are more cooking photos at the Din Din album.
Couch potato
We learned a lot about pralines from Linda's praline site. Unfortunately, that was after we'd basically made a batch of crunchy sugar mounds.
Never did get around to photographing the final blended soup...
