A note of explanation about my "Second Song" choice: I think it's the best TVOTR offering on the new album, and really sticky in the brain.

I like the rockingness of the Male Bonding and Surfer Blood tracks. I'll definitely be following up with the latter.

Of course, I'm listening to this at work, at the end of a pretty long day, and when "Surfin' Bird" came out of nowhere, I just about ran out the door toward home.

There's a specific part on "Second Song" that I really love.... it's when the pre-chorus kicks in and he sings "And when the night... comes..." There's that subtle little guitar riff that sounds more like an accidental electric shock noise than a guitar riff. Then the pre-chorus fades into the falsetto chorus backed by those sweet horns.

It's a pretty perfect song, I think.

When one puts together a list of songs using Grooveshark, is the order random?

Oatess - We have been arranging these songs by our list of names, in the same order, since the MWM inception. Any attempt to order them aesthetically for flow would be too labor intensive for Jack and I, as we already scramble to pull them together most weeks.

So, I guess the right answer is yes, the song order is somewhat random.

One of my favorite songs by "The Band," Econ. I just has a "something." I like their song "Ophelia" for the same reason.
